Screw Feeder For Powder Supply this equipment adopts the principle of spiral propulsion and is specially designed for flour, medicinal powder, chemical raw materials, etc. The conveying capacity is 0.1-10t/h and the accuracy error is ≤2%. It provides three installation methods: horizontal, inclined, and vertical. It is suitable for conveying distances of 1-30 meters. Carbon steel and 304/316 stainless steel are optional. The fully enclosed structure prevents dust from spilling out, and frequency conversion speed regulation is used to achieve precise flow control.
We provide three models of horizontal/inclined/vertical, with carbon steel/stainless steel as two materials, suitable for food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries, supporting customized design to meet different powder characteristics and working conditions.
Horizontal screw feeder: The main shaft is parallel to the ground, suitable for horizontal or micro-angle conveying within 20 meters or less than 15°. It has a simple structure, convenient maintenance and low power consumption. It is often used for short-distance uniform conveying of powders such as food additives and chemical raw materials, and is suitable for scenes such as mixer feeding and packaging machine filling.
Inclined screw feeder: The tilt angle is 15°-45°. The motor power needs to be increased to overcome gravity. Variable pitch or baffle design is often used to prevent powder backflow. It is mainly used for powder lifting and conveying from underground silos to high-altitude equipment (such as drying towers).
Vertical screw feeder: The main shaft is vertical to the ground, with a small footprint but high energy consumption. It relies on high speed and special spiral blades to achieve lifting. It is suitable for vertical conveying scenarios with limited space, such as building cement filling and pharmaceutical powder lifting operations.

When the screw shaft rotates, the powder material enters the trough from the feed port and accumulates at the bottom of the trough under the action of gravity. The friction between the spiral blade and the material drives it to move. The feed amount can be controlled by adjusting the feed port gate or feeding device; during the conveying stage, the blade continues to rotate to push the material from the feed end to the discharge end, so that a continuous "material flow" is formed in the trough. After the material reaches the discharge port, it is discharged under the action of centrifugal force and gravity.
